Know Your Rancher.
Know Your Beef.
Not all beef and bison are raised or finished the same way. We carry products from Wyoming and regional ranchers and producers with different approaches to grazing, finishing and aging. Here's what makes each one different.
High Point Beef & Bison
How They Raise Their Bison
Their animals are raised from birth to harvest directly on their family ranch near Pine Bluffs, Wyoming.
The herd grazes on native prairie grasses during the warmer months and is fed locally grown hay during winter.
Their bison are not grain finished. The feeding program stays centered around native grasses and locally grown hay.
Their program does not use added hormones, steroids or routine antibiotics.
Wyoming Pure Beef
The Start-to-Finish Process
Cattle are born and raised in southeast Wyoming, spending most of their lives open-grazing on natural prairie grasses, cover crops and forage.
Approximately four months before processing, the cattle transition to a specialized grain mixture. The grain is grown on their own farm or sourced from neighboring producers in southeastern Wyoming.
Wyoming Pure dry-ages its beef after processing. This controlled aging process allows moisture to evaporate, helping concentrate beef flavor while naturally tenderizing the meat.
Their beef is produced without added growth hormones, steroids or routine antibiotics.
Harding Ranch
The Finishing Breakdown
The cattle are raised primarily on open pasture and native grasses throughout the majority of their lives.
During their final months, the cattle transition to a grain diet designed to develop marbling, tenderness and a rich beef flavor profile.
The finishing phase helps develop the combination of tenderness, marbling and flavor associated with grain-finished beef.
Harding Ranch beef is produced without growth hormones, routine antibiotics or hormone-treated feed.
